This scheme is more workable for Industrial , Commercial & Housing Projects requiring less space which is at premium in cities & towns and is most suitable for Malls , Schools , High rise residential apartments , Hotels , Hospitals , etc.

The Sewage Treatment Plant ( STP ) can be planned underground & the top of STP can be used for storage of goods , even as road , etc.

Being a hybrid technology it combines the best of both Anaerobic & Aerobic Zones Digestion keeping in mind the reduction in running cost & smell . This is far superior to only MBBR technology which is mainly Aerobic Zone . Typically a STP of 75 KLD designed with this scheme saves approx. Rs.1.50 Lakhs per annum in power costs with the present power tariff compared to MBBR technology .

Even the maintenance cost of STP in this scheme is drastically reduced as 80 % digestion is being done in Anaerobic Zone which does not require any Power , does no cost is involved & only 20 % digestion is done in Aerobic Zone which requires Power .

The treated water can be consumed in Toilet Flushing , Floor Cleaning & washing and in gardening with tertiary treatment systems . With above schemes Zero Discharge can be achieved
